Scary Giant Flying Anorexic Bird-Men.

The second models to be painted in the set.  The Morghast!  You can assemble them with either the big Halberds, or dual wielding the giant 1 handed swords.  I did both versions and might add another two models later on, but for now, I can play them as either/or version!

Here I tried to follow the box art as close as possible, since the paint scheme they chose was spot-on and I really liked it.

The base coat is rattle-can flat black.  Then, the 'Spirit' parts are first primed grey and the bone parts, tan.

A wash of 'Bale Green Tan' is used to make the grey look spooky, and a dry-brush of a lighter grey, with a dab of light green in it, makes the highlights.

The bone is washed with Riechland Flesh Shade and the highlights done with a bone white dry-brush and spot liner-brush highlight.

The armor is based in black, then highlighted with a dark purple.  A light violet edge-highlight is applied along with a gloss black wash.  The weapons were done using the same grey for the base, but then switching to the tan for the transition parts at the ends.  This changed the spooky-green into more of a 'murky' green, which blended into the black.  The highlights were done with a light/bright green.
